Terms of use
Our full terms of use are being finalised and will be published here before launch. Below is a plain-language summary of how booking works. Questions in the meantime? Email hello@mantaray.app.
Booking an arena
- Your booking is with the arena. MantaRay runs the booking system; the arena runs your session.
- The arena's own booking terms and cancellation policy apply. You see them, and agree to them, before you book.
- Your places are held for a few minutes while you pay. If the hold runs out before you've paid, the places may go to someone else.
- To change or cancel, contact the arena using the details in your confirmation email.
Paying
- Deposits and payments go straight to the arena's own Stripe account.
- Refunds follow the arena's cancellation policy. Card refunds go back to the card you paid with.
- If a MantaRay booking fee applies, it's shown before you pay, and it's refunded if the arena cancels. There's no booking fee when gift vouchers cover what's due when you book.
Gift vouchers
- A gift voucher is sold by the arena, and the arena's voucher terms apply. You see them, and agree to them, before you buy.
- Gift vouchers you buy last at least three years, and the date they expire is on the voucher.
- Use one when you book online, or give the code when you book by phone or at the venue. It pays first, and anything left stays on it until it expires.
- If a booking paid with a voucher is refunded, the money goes back on the voucher.
- Payments go straight to the arena's own Stripe account. To change or cancel a voucher, contact the arena.
